The Greater Project is an initiative to serve people better, to create a vibrant, multi-use space for Hamilton — we're creating safe spaces for more children to experience childcare, more free programs, better accessibility, a new focus on mental health, and much much more.

Everyone! The indoor playground, gym, café, and event spaces are designed for public use — including families, schools, sports leagues, community groups, and businesses.

Key features include: a massive 2-storey indoor playplace, a new multi-gym complex, a community café and Events room, a sensory-friendly room for all ages, new free programming in arts, music, and wellness.

Phase 1 construction is nearing completion. Phase 2, focused on the Community Centre and Daycare expansion, is next. Updates on grand opening dates will be shared as progress continues!

Through free and low-cost programs in sports, arts, and wellness, sensory-friendly play areas, mental health support services, and safe, welcoming spaces designed with families in mind.

Yes! Once completed, the Centre will offer space rentals for birthday parties, sports leagues, conferences, performances, and other community events.

The Greater Project is funded through donations from individuals, businesses, and grants — all invested back into creating inclusive spaces that serve Hamilton’s diverse community.
