A Greater space for community

One of the recorded goals in the charter of the daycare was “To provide childcare for the community. Especially for children whose parents cannot afford this type of service.” With this project we continue this vision and open up 30 new spaces for children to reciive quality childcare in our communmity.

After school programs for grades 6 thru 12.

Hosting the event annually – more than 1,000 people from the community attend EACH Halloween. The night includes food, treats, massive bouncy castles, inflatable slides, and lots of fun activities. It is so much fun for the community, all at no cost to the community.

Every week, 150 children participate in various classes including cooking, dance, archery, nerf, crafts, wood working, baking, gymnastics, karate, and sewing.

Our league has become one of the province’s largest, completely free, year-round programs that manages a 14 team basketball league, a 14 team indoor soccer league, and a 16 team outdoor league. Building on established partnerships with Canadian Tire Jump Start, City of Hamilton, Charity of Hope, and Trillium Foundation.

These programs help families in the community by providing gifts for the children and financial support for the parents during the holiday season as well has assisting community families in crisis throughout the entire year.
